Alice Auer has shared her new single ‘Greek Street’.
The songwriter has something special, an ability to flex, and a desire to communicate. Sharing the stage with the likes of newgen junglist Nia Archives and neo-soul heroines ELIZA, she’s also received a shout-out from Justin Bieber.
Moving in her own lane, she has links to Clash favourites such as Matilda Mann and Maya Delilah, while new single ‘Greek Street’ finds Alice Auer working with Conor Albert.
Spartan yet effective, ‘Greek Street’ leans on her jazz roots, while conjuring something deeply atmospheric. The title references a Soho landmark, and there’s a touch of mythical London, and its transformative powers, at work here.
